Hall County School District – Family Survey for Cognia Accreditation and Strategic Planning

DIRECTIONS: As the parent/guardian of a student in the Hall County School District, we value your feedback. Your responses to the survey questions below will serve to inform our Cognia accreditation and strategic planning processes.

Parents/Guardians who have more than one student in grades 3-12 are asked to complete a separate Family Survey for each school in which you have a student enrolled. This allows the district to capture your experience with each school.
Thank you for completing this survey. All responses are anonymous. Responses will be collected through August 31, 2023.

The goal of Title I is to forge a Parent and Family Engagement Partnership in order to:

  • To help teachers understand the needs and concerns of students and families
  •  To help parents understand their child and be more involved in their child’s education

In our quest to help ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency in challenging state academic standards and assessments, we have attached a copy of the weekly tips from the Parent Institute. 2022-2023 Applications for Free and Reduced Lunch

Good Afternoon,

The waiver that allowed the Hall County School District to serve meals to students at no cost has expired. Therefore, the district will resume taking applications for free and reduced-price meals for the 2022-2023 school year. Please go to the following link for access to the application:

Please remember that applying for free and reduced-price meals may also qualify your student for discounted fees for college entrance exams and scholarships.

EL DISTRITO ESCOLAR DEL CONDADO DE HALL SE PREPARA PARA LA
PRUEBA DE FIN DE GRADO (EOG)
Las Pruebas de Fin de Grado de Georgia (EOG, por sus siglas en inglés) se administrarán del
28 de abril al 6 de mayo de 2022 deacuerdo al siguiente calendario:
Grados 3, 4, 6, & 7
● Inglés/Artes del Lenguaje–2 y 3 de mayo
● Matemáticas–5 de mayo
Grado 5
● Inglés/Artes del Lenguaje–2 y 3 de mayo
● Matemáticass–5 de mayo
● Ciencia–6 de mayo
Grado 8
● Ciencia–28 de abril
● Estudios Sociales–29 de abril
● Inglés/Artes del Lenguaje–2 y 3 de mayo
● Matemáticas–5 de mayo
Las EOG son pruebas importantes requeridas por el gobierno federal, pero son solo una
medida del rendimiento de su hijo(a). Por lo tanto, no queremos que los estudiantes estén
demasiado ansiosos. Por favor, anime a sus estudiantes a dar lo mejor de sí, pero sin
estresarse.
